The inaugural session of the Saha-Sanvada Programme, organized by the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR) in collaboration with the Office on Missing Persons (OMP), was held on 03 September 2026 at the Kadawath Sathara Divisional Secretariat, Matara.
The programme aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of families who were affected and victimized during the conflict situation that prevailed during the 1980s and 1990s in the Galle, Matara, and Hambantota Districts.
Approximately 60 selected families, together with Government officials and representatives of relevant institutions, participated in the inaugural session.
