Promoting Reconciliation Through Art: We Sri Lankans for a Healthy Society Art Forum Held in Matara
The We Sri Lankans for a Healthy Society Art Forum program was held on July 3rd at the Nupe Sakhana Theater in Matara with great success. In this program, the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation organized the first photo exhibition “The Third Eye of Reconciliation” of the photography program conducted in the year 2025 by integrating the Monaragala and Mannar districts. Also, two performances of the Yakawewata Nandikadal stage play were held and a discussion with groups with real life experiences on the theme of the Yakawewata Nandikadal drama was a special occasion. The Mayor, along with religious leaders/priests, a large number of university students, school students, members of Sahajeewana Sangams participated. The operational activities of this program were carried out by the District and Regional National Integration Officers.
