Chairperson , ONUR and Deputy Director, ONUR participated at a meeting with His Excellency Volker Turk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and his deligation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 24th June. The important matters related to peace and reconciliation were extensively discussed at this meeting with the participation of Ministry of Judtice and National Integration , OMP and OR.

UN deligation was impressed about ONUR’s recent initiative on National Policy and National Action plan on Coexistence and Reconciliation and ONUR’s mediation involvement for Tissa Vihara, Thaiddi issue.
