The programs organized by the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation on the occasion of World Environment Day were held on 05.06.2025. In this program, after the Assistant Director Mr. Susantha Kumara explained the objective, Professor Farina Rusaik (Board Member) made an in-depth analysis of the need for a healthy environment to build a healthy society, and photographer Mr. Dinusha Nanayakkara delivered a lecture aiming at an approach to reconciliation through the beauty of the environment. After reviewing the facts and presenting further ideas on building a healthy environment, all those present sang the environmental song. The program ended after Assistant Director H.S. Lakmal thanked the participants, including Sahajeewana Sangams, District and Regional National Integration Officers, Principals, School Teachers and Students, who were present online, and the program was moderated by Ms. Mitini Dissanayake, Secretary of the Governing Body of the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation.
