ONUR Brings “The Third Eye of Reconciliation” and “Yakawewata Nandikadal” to Kantale in Successful Art Forum.
The We Sri Lankans for a Healthy Society Art Forum program was held on August 19th at the Kantale City Hall Theater in Trincomalee with great success. In this program, the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation organized a photo exhibition “The Third Eye of Reconciliation” of the photography program conducted in the year 2025 by merging the Monaragala and Mannar districts. Also, two performances of the Yakawewata Nandikadal stage play were held and a discussion with groups with real life experiences on the theme of the Yakawewata Nandikadal drama was a special occasion. A large number of university lecturers, students, school students, members of Sahajeewan Sangams, members of the District Art Forum participated in the program along with the Trincomalee District Secretary, the Kantale Assistant Divisional Secretary and other prominent government officials. It is worth mentioning that the expected audience target was exceeded by nearly 2,000 people. The operational activities of this program were carried out by the District and Regional National Integration Officers and all other ranks of the District Secretariat contributed to this.
