ONUR was established by Cabinet Decision dated 8th April, 2015 in respect of Cabinet Memorandum dated 25th March, 2015 submitted by Hon. Prime Minister, the Office for the National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR) was established under the authority of His Excellency the President.
All Sri Lankans co-exist in harmony and unity, as common repositories of our historical heritage which encourages exclusivity through a shared identity whilst diversity is respected and celebrated.
Promote and catalyze a multi stakeholder effort to create a society that respects fundamental rights, freedom, and rule of law, social obligations, mutual respect, non-discrimination, equity and diversity.
