The inaugural ceremony of the program “Mediation with Youth for a Heald Society” organized by the ONUR

The inaugural ceremony of the program “Mediation with Youth for a Heald Society” organized by the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation was held on 25.08.2025 at the Rajarata Broadcasting Service Auditorium, Anuradhapura under the patronage of the Chairman and Deputy Director of the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation.

We would like to express our special gratitude to the staff led by the Deputy Director of the Rajarata Broadcasting Service, Mr. Prasanna Dissanayake, who provided full support for this program.

It should be recalled that the Sampath Foundation supported the award-winning veteran journalist and writer Mahinda Chandrasekara and the veteran lecturer and regional journalist Shelton to make this program a success. It should be recalled that the National Integration Development Officers of the Ministry of Justice and National Integration of the Divisional Secretariats of Mihintale, Rambewa, Thalawa and Thirappane and the Development Officer of the Kebithigolleva Divisional Secretariat, Mrs. Gayani, also provided their full support. Also, the District National Integration Coordination Officer, Mr. Ranga Bandara, took the district responsibility for organizing this program. The next series of workshops is scheduled to begin soon.
