POST OF DIRECTOR GENERAL – HM 2-3 (1 POST)


QUALIFICATIONS (EXTERNAL CATEGORY)


A Bachelor’s degree from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission in the field of Law/Social Science/Business Administration/Human Resource Management/Economics or Accountancy.


WITH


A Postgraduate qualification in the field of Law/Social Science/Business Administration/Human Resource Management/Economics or Accountancy or Corporate Membership of a recognized professional institution in Management.


AND


At least 20 years of experience at the Managerial Level in government, state cooperation, statutory board, or a similar recognized private institution, out of which 05 years of experience should be at the Senior Managerial Level with a proven track record. Citizen of Sri Lanka. Should have excellent character

GENERAL CONDITIONS


Salary Scale – HM 2-3 – Rs. [98,215 – 12 x 2,700 – 130,615] HM 2-2 – Rs. [93,020 – 12 x 2,700 – 125,420]

HM 2-1 – Rs. [91,645 – 12 x 2,700 – 124,045].

Salary Step – 98,215/-.


Age Limit – Age should be not less than 45 years and not more than 65 years as of the closing date of the Application.

Other Benefits: Cost Of Living Allowance, Entitlement to 12.5% EPF and 3% ETF contributions by the Organizations, and other benefits applicable as per government standard procedure.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST


Responsibility is assigned to the person who holds the position of Director General to be responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the institution by leading and directing towards the highest productivity of the institution through providing the necessary guidance to the institutional staff by carrying out responsibilities and tasks assigned, subject to the guidance and administration of the Board

of Directors.
